Quickstart

Get started with Brivvy's intelligent communications platform.

Brivvy helps teams create on-brand content at scale by unifying brand voice configuration, content templates, audience management and glossary features. The platform enables consistent brand communication through AI-powered content creation across multiple tools and workflows.

This guide covers the essential features and setup steps to get teams generating on-brand content quickly.

Introduction to Brivvy

Core features

Brivvy provides four integrated capabilities that work together to maintain brand consistency:

  • Brand Voice defines tone and writing rules that guide content generation. Voice settings use five-slider configurations to capture communication style across warmth, confidence, formality, levity and technicality dimensions.

  • Templates provide reusable structures for common content types. Each template includes instructions for sections, formatting and messaging that ensure consistent output quality.

  • Audiences capture demographic and psychographic information about target readers. Audience definitions help tailor content tone and messaging to specific groups.

  • Glossary maintains approved terminology, acronyms and usage guidelines. Glossary entries ensure consistent language across all content.

MCP Server integration

The Brivvy MCP Server connects AI platforms directly to brand assets. Teams can access brand voice, templates and glossary terms within Claude, Cursor and other AI tools without switching contexts.

Setting up Brivvy

For workspace Admins

Admins should complete these steps to prepare the workspace for team content generation:

1

Configure your brand voice

Navigate to Brand Voice in the Communications section. Set the five tone sliders to match the desired communication style. Add writing rules that define formatting preferences, perspective and style requirements.

2

Create your templates

Build templates for the most common content types the team produces. Start with three to five high-priority templates such as blog posts, feature announcements or social media content.

3

Define primary audiences

Add audience profiles for key customer segments or reader groups. Include demographic details and communication preferences that help tailor content appropriately.

4

Build glossary foundation

Add essential brand terminology, product names and preferred usage patterns. Focus on terms that frequently appear in content or that teams commonly misuse.

5

Connect AI tools

Set up MCP Server connections in the AI platforms the team uses. Follow platform-specific guides for Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT to enable workspace access.

For team members

Team members joining an established workspace should complete these orientation steps:

1

Review brand voice settings

Open the Brand Voice page to understand tone configuration and writing rules. This provides context for how content should sound and be formatted.

2

Check audience definitions

Browse the Templates section to see what structures are available. Review template instructions to understand expected content organization.

3

Reference the glossary

Review audience profiles to understand who content targets. Audience information helps frame messaging and tone appropriately.

4

Test AI integration

Scan glossary entries for key terms and usage guidelines. Bookmark the glossary for quick reference during content creation.

5

Connect AI tools

Generate sample content using connected AI platforms. Verify that brand voice and templates load correctly through the MCP Server.

Content creating workflows

Using brand voice

AI platforms with MCP integration automatically access brand voice settings when explicitly requested. Prompts should reference "Brivvy brand voice" or similar language to trigger voice application.

Manual workflows require copying brand voice settings and including them in prompts. This approach works for platforms without MCP support.

Applying templates

Request templates by name when generating structured content. The AI platform retrieves template instructions through the MCP Server and follows the defined structure.

Templates ensure consistent organization and messaging across similar content types. Teams can create multiple variations of the same content while maintaining structural consistency.

Targeting audiences

Reference audience names in content generation prompts. AI platforms can tailor tone and messaging to match audience characteristics when audience context is provided.

Audience targeting helps content resonate with specific reader groups without creating entirely separate brand voices.
